Domain Name Registration With ThisComputing, a member of Nominet.

Overview

ThisComputing is an accredited Nominet member, and all domains registered through us are managed under our Nominet IPS Tag.

Domain Registration

By requesting a domain registration, you confirm that you hold the legal rights to use the chosen name. Submitting the registration serves as your assurance that these rights exist.

Renewal Policy

To ensure uninterrupted service, all domains are automatically set to renew unless you specifically request otherwise.

If auto-renewal is disabled, reminder emails will be issued to the administrative contact 30 days before expiry, again 7 days before, and on the renewal date.

It is your responsibility to keep all contact information up to date. ThisComputing cannot be held liable for domains failing to renew due to outdated or incorrect contact details.


Complaints Procedure

If you wish to file a complaint related to your domain, email cptreviewer(@)gmail.com with detailed information.

  • We will acknowledge your complaint within 1 working day.
  • Our goal is to resolve issues within 3 working days.
  • If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may escalate the matter by emailing your ticket reference to the same address. Escalations are reviewed within 2 working days.


Reporting Abuse

To report suspected abuse such as phishing, spam, or misuse of a domain registered with us, email cptreviewer(@)gmail.com. We respond within 3 working days.


Transfering & Termination

You may transfer your domain(s) away from ThisComputing at any time and at no cost.

Please email cptreviewer(@)gmail.com with a brief request and the new IPS tag.



Expiry Process

When a .UK domain expires, it enters a 30-day grace period.

After this period, the domain will be suspended, and if still not renewed after 90 days, it will be cancelled and released for public registration.

Changes made to domains registered through ThisComputing are free of charge.

How We Work

If you do not already have an agreement in place with us, the following applies to our domain services:

  • Domains renew automatically unless you instruct us otherwise.
  • Renewal invoices are sent after renewal to the email address on file, so it’s important to keep your contact information accurate.
  • Domain names are registered to our Nominet Tag.

If a domain is not renewed before expiry:

  • You have 30 days (Protected Period) to renew at the standard renewal price.
  • After 30 days, the domain is suspended. Services stop, but you can still renew it during the following 60-day grace period.
  • After a total of 90 days, the domain is deleted and becomes available for public registration.
